You know the summer season is just around the corner when the flower and vegetable plants are out at the greenhouses. This flower is called Basket Bon Bon { Bracteantha }. The color of the flowers just glow in the evening sun.

Lady & the Brooch

This beaded brooch looks like something the lady in the photo might wear. Amber colored beads and a rhinestone button and some iridescent seed beads were used to create this round brooch.

New Workroom Setup

I have set up a new little work area for the summer, so I can work on projects while The Crystal Pinecone is open this summer season. I just need to take out my portable sewing machine that was a Christmas gift from my sister and brother-in law..Nance and Chuck. I have the window for good light and everything is on or in this antique dresser that I will need for projects. By the way I got this solid oak dresser at a garage sale. It was covered with many coats of paint.
