Lake Superior Inspired

Lake Superior was the inspiration for this handmade bracelet. In the photo it is not able to be seen but, the background of fabric print used as the base of the bead work is all kind of rocks found on the beach of Lake Superior. The natural colored wool yarn was used to off set the bead work. The seed beads are glass and a square black and white focal bead is a ceramic bead. A couple of silvertone beads were used to represent the color of the foam on the waves. It has a button closure. The cost is 24.95.

Colorful Stripes

This photo shows an example of some of the fingerless gloves we have at the The Crystal Pinecone. They are hand knit from a washable wool blend...and are very soft to the touch. These gloves with the tiny buttons as in this photo, have been very popular. We still have several choices of colors to choose form, some have stripes and some are all solid. Keep your hands and wrists warm and still keep fingers free. The cost is: 22.50 a pair for the button type.

A Chef Cat

I painted this rock and it is a chef cat! The chef hat can be seen...but, a green colored colander and a tomato are also painted on the side of the rock, though not visible in the photo. Acrylic paints were used and then a clear finished glaze was applied to protect the paint.

Cat Necklace

This necklace was part of a craft project my sister, Nancy and I were working on a few weeks back. We had a lot of fun working on these necklace pendants. The pendant was made from a bamboo tile and the images were applied to the tile. We added crystal beads and other findings. This image is of a very cute cat dressed in a dress with a stand up lace collar. A little dog is jumping up to get attention from a cat? How cute....loving it.

Frog Zombie?

A "frog fellow-type zombie" that could possibly have a bit of an attitude or some other crabby issues going on ...but he does make key chain fob that will not easily get lost. It is hand made with a fabric dyed face and garter knit arms...a few strands of black cord make a wild hairdo for this fellow!
